The Dongfeng 8-ton water tank fire truck is modified from the Dongfeng chassis. The vehicle consists of two main parts: the firefighter's cabin and the body. The cabin is an original double row and can accommodate 3+3 people. The vehicle has a hidden tank structure, with equipment boxes on both sides of the body, tank bodies in the middle, and a pump room in the rear. The carrier tank is made of high-quality carbon steel, coated with epoxy primer and epoxy asphalt paint internally, and connected to the chassis with elastic connection. It can carry 8200kg of water and is equipped with CB10/40-RS atmospheric pressure fire pump produced by Shanghai Rongshen Fire Equipment Co., Ltd. with a rated flow of 40L/S. The roof is equipped with PS8/40W vehicle fire monitor produced by Chengdu West Fire Machinery Co., Ltd. The biggest features of this car are a large liquid load, good handling, and easy maintenance.
